Day 1: Depart from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park, Boat Trip
Have early breakfast and prepare for pick-up at exactly 6:30 am to start your 2 days safari to Uganda’s biggest National Park driving along the Kampala – Gulu high way with a brief stop over in Luwero District to pick a couple of fruits say oranges, pineapples, passion fruits, among others. Get to Murchison Falls National Park and drive to the Top of the Murchison Falls. You get to witness the whole Nile squeeze through a narrow gorge of about only 7 meters wide and exploding into violent waterfalls into a whirlpool about 43 meters below. The sight of this world’s strongest waterfall is breathtaking.
Proceed for your lunch, later set out for the 2:30 pm wildlife Launch cruise on River Nile. This is a must do for any safari to Murchison Falls National Park. Day 2: Game drives, Travel to Kampala
Be up for early morning breakfast at about 6:00 am and set out for the early morning game drive by 6:30 am. The timing is great to catch the nocturnal and hunters before returning to their hideouts. Explore the major game tracks, Queen and Albert, for great sightings of elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, Jackals, hyenas, Uganda kobs, oribis, buffaloes, waterbucks, Jackson’s Hartebeests, bushbucks and hopefully the elusive leopards among others.
