Day 1: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Prepare for pickup from your hotel or residence at exactly 7:00 am and start the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you drive through Kiruhura, you stand a chance of sighting zebras, impalas & lots of crested cranes in Lake Mburo National Park that is situated along the Kampala – Mbarara highway. Get to Mbarara town for your lunch. Continue and get to Queen Elizabeth National Park amidst stunning views of grassy hills and beautiful craters. Get to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Early morning game drive and a Boat Ride along the Kazinga Channel
Have early morning breakfast and set out for the game drive by 6:30 am to catch up with the nocturnal and hunters before returning to their hideouts. Explore the Kasenyi track and Queen’s mile for big game sightings including lions, elephants, waterbucks, hyenas, jackals, buffaloes, several warthogs and baboons plus lots of birds. After more than 4 hours of wildlife sighting return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Later set out for the 2 hours boat ride along the Kazinga Channel for a great opportunity to view lots of wildlife up close: hippos huff and spray barely a feet away from the boat, buffaloes linger in the shallows, crocodiles, monitor lizards, elephants, antelopes and cocktail of birds including pied and malachite kingfishers, cormorants, saddle billed stork, pink backed pelicans, and many others.
Return at about 5:00 pm and set out for a 1 hour tour of the Lake Katwe Tourism Center. You get to sight thousands of flamingos at Lake Manyanyange, and have a local experience at the salt mining centre & the fishing village.
Drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
