Itinerary For The 4 Days Murchison Falls Luxury Safari
Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park
After your early cup of tea depart for Murchison Falls National Park. Drive on the Kampala – Gulu highway for close to 4 hours and get to Masindi town for your lunch. Thereafter drive for about 25 minutes and get to Murchison Falls National Park. Drive to the top of the Murchison Falls for to see these incredibly glamorous falls. Thereafter drive to the ferry and cross the Nile and get to the luxurious Paraa Safari Lodge to relax, have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Early Game Drive, Launch Ride on the Nile, Hike around the Falls
Have early breakfast and set out for an early game drive for a better chance to catch the elusive nocturnal and the early risers such as the hunters. Expect to see animals such as lions, grazing hippos, hyenas, the elusive leopards, herds of elephants, Jackson’s hartebeest, oribis, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, lots of savanna birds and beautiful sceneries. After more than 4 hours of incredible wildlife sightings return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation
Later set out for the afternoon Launch cruise along the River Nile. River Nile hosts a spectacle of wildlife, including lots of hippos, crocodile, and an array of water birds including the spectacular and elusive Shoebill Stork. Several animals come to the river to drink, cool off the scorching heat and eat fresh grass along the banks. You could see herds of elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, warthogs, buffaloes, and Waterbucks among others. You ride for close to one and half hours and get to the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls National Park.
At this moment you leave the Launch and set off for the hike around these marvelous waterfalls. It is a one hour light hike, and offers the best experience of the falls. There are lots of tsetse flies, so ensure to apply an insect repellent before the hike. The drive shall be waiting for you at the top and transfer you to Paraa Safari Lodge to relax, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Early game drive, Transfer to Chobe Safari Lodge
After an early cup of tea set out for yet another early game drive. Explore more game trails and expect your game count to increase. Proceed and get to the luxurious Five Star Chobe Safari Lodge for lunch, relaxation and overnight.

Day 4: Morning Nature Walk, Transfer to Kampala
Be up for an early cup of tea and set off for the morning nature walk. Led by an armed range guide, you trek through the surrounding forest, to open savanna and sight lots of wildlife up close including lots of baboons, vervet, Colobus, and patas monkeys, elephants, bushbucks, Oribis, giraffes, hogs, and by chance the elusive leopards. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Thereafter check out and transfer to Kampala.
