Kidepo Valley National Park is popular for its spectacular landscape that can not be experienced anywhere else. Untouched wilderness roles on semi-arid plains teeming with large buffalo and elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, ostrich, eland, lions, bush pig and lots of carnivores that are unique to the Karamoja region such as striped hyena, caracal, bat-eared fox, aardwolf, cheetah and hunting dog, and with about 500 species of birds recorded, Kidepo is a birder’s paradise.

Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Kitgum
Have early breakfast and prepare for pick up at exactly 7.00am to start the journey. Drive through the Luwero triangle where you shall stop to pick a couple of fruits say pineapples. Continue and get to Masindi town for lunch. Thereafter proceed and get to Kitgum. Check in at Boma Guest House for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park, Game Drive
Wake up to an early cup of tea after which you continue with the trip to Kidepo Valley National Park. Get to Kidepo National Park in time for lunch. Later set out for exciting game drive for great scenic views of mountains and valleys and incredible wildlife sightings. Drive through the Narus valley for sightings of large herds of buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, elands, Jackson’s hartebeests, Oribis and lots of birds and unique features.
Return to the lodge to relax and later have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game Drives in Kidepo Valley
Wake up to a fabulous breakfast with great views of the spectacular wilderness around you – the morning view of the semi-arid plains ending in rugged horizon is quite a spectacle. Set out for the game drive to Kanangorok Hot Springs for more wildlife sightings and great picture moments. There are lots of interesting features, birds and animals to observe. Expect sightings of lions on rocky outcrops looking for their prey.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relax.
Later set for another adventure, deeper into Kidepo. Expect even more interesting sights and increase your game count.
Return later for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Game Drive
Have early breakfast, check out and set off for Murchison Falls National Park. Expect enroute stopover for lunch. Get to Murchison Falls National Park, check in at your lodge and relax. Later set out for an evening game drive to sight a number of wildlife in Uganda’s largest game park. Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Game Drive, Boat Ride along the Nile
Have early breakfast and set out for the game drive as early as 6.30am for a big chance of catching the nocturnal and hunters such as lions, leopards, lions, hyenas, and grazing hippos. Explore the major game trails on the northern side of the Nile for a great wildlife experience. Expect to see large herds of waterbucks, oribis, buffalos, and Jackson’s hartebeests, Giraffes, baboons, elephants and a variety of birds, all at a backdrop of a very scenic savanna landscape.
After the 4 hour game drive, return to the lodge to relax and have lunch.
Later set out for a Boat Ride along the Nile to the bottom of the Murchison falls. Common sights along the Nile include lots of hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffalos, elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, and lots of birds.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
